Chaudhvin Ka Chaand, released in 1961, is a love triangle of two best friends, who fall for the same girl. The title song is popular, even today. The commendable work of the Bollywood veterans Guru Dutt and Waheeda Rehman is still appreciated. Dharamputra is the second directorial venture of the great Yash Chopra and Shashi Kapoor's first film as an adult actor. It was released in 1961. It's a story of a Muslim boy being brought up by a Hindu family and, therefore, becomes anti-Muslim. 12 O'Clock is a suspense movie. The movie is about a loving sister, Bani, being blamed for her cousin, Maya's death and how Bani's boyfriend tries to prove her innocence. The movie was released in 1958. Howrah Bridge, released in 1958, is a thriller. It is a story of two brothers, Rakesh and Madan, who live together happily until Madan falls into bad company and is murdered. Rakesh struggles hard to find the killers of his brother. Bhabhi Ki Cudiyaan is a family drama of a married brother and his wife, giving unconditional motherly love to his younger brother. After the marriage of the younger brother, the story changes its course. The movie was released in 1961. Babul, released in 1950, is a story of two girls who develop feelings for a young postmaster. One girl is rich and the other is poor. Dil Ek Mandir, which was released in 1963, is a movie based on pure and selfless love. The plot of the movie is about a happily married couple, who discover that the husband is suffering from cancer and needs to be treated by the wife's ex-lover. Naya Daur is a post-independence film. It portrays the effect of westernisation on the common Indian man and shows the struggle of man over machine. It was released in 1957. Dhool Ka Phool, also released in 1957, is Yash Chopra's first film as a director. The storyline is about a Muslim family bringing up a Hindu child. Bees Saal Baad is a 1962 film. The movie is slightly inspired by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's The Hound of the Baskervilles.
