Description
Punjabi film 'Sadda Haq' tells the story of the unchecked use of torture made during the 1980's to mid-1990's by the police system in Punjab, which was one of the most disturbed and disruptive period in the history of the state. 'Sadda Haq' is a fictionalized take inspired by real events of that period. It tells the life story of 2 men, Kartar Singh Baaz (Kuljinder Singh Sidhu) and Rajwant Singh (Dev Kharoud) through the eyes of an NRI girl Sharon (Dhriti Saharan) who is in India to carry out her research for her thesis. In India, she is supported by her boyfriend Karan (Gaurav Kakkar).
